Get informed before heading to the polls with Google Trends
What a great resource this is for American History and Government classes ... Google Trends! From Google's official blog:
"To help people get informed before heading to the polls, we’re integrating three new components into the debate: a way to hear directly from candidates on Google; real-time Google Trends data; and questions from some of YouTube’s most prominent voices.
Political search interest spikes 440 percent on average during live televised debates as people turn to the web to learn more about the candidates and their platforms. Now people will have a new way to hear directly from candidates themselves, in real-time—right in Google Search results."

Long Multiplication with Google Sheets
This is great!!! From "Control Alt Achieve"
Use Google Sheets to teach long multiplication. "What I did was create some sheets that allow a student to type in the original multiplication problem, and then using hidden columns, custom formulas, and conditional formatting, it provides the student with feedback each step along the way."
Awesome!!!
